Embrace Your Rehabilitation Journey
Discover Rehab Tips for a Happier You
Welcome Newcomers
I didn’t start this blog to sell anything. I started it because, as a stroke survivor, I know how isolating recovery can be. You come home from the hospital, and suddenly everything that used to be simple is hard. Your body doesn’t do what you tell it. Therapy is exhausting. Fatigue hits like a freight train. And nobody — nobody — really tells you what life after stroke is actually like.
So I built this space. A place for survivors, caregivers, and anyone trying to figure out how to keep living after a stroke. A place where the stories are real, the advice is practical, and the victories — no matter how small — are celebrated.
What This Community Is About
Real Talk. No sugarcoating. No motivational quotes pretending recovery is easy. Just straight, honest experience.
Connection. Stroke survivors shouldn’t feel alone. This is a place to share your wins, vent your frustrations, and hear from people who actually get it.
Useful Info. I’ll talk about tools, exercises, and strategies that worked for me — and sometimes those that didn’t. No hype, no fluff.
Support, Not Pressure. Recovery isn’t a competition. You do what you can, when you can, and we respect that.
Why I’m Writing This
Because too many survivors feel forgotten.
Because caregivers need insight, not just checklists.
Because rehab is messy, exhausting, repetitive — and hearing that someone else understands can make a huge difference.
Yes, I run The Survived Stroke Store. And yes, if something truly helped me with daily living or therapy, I’ll mention it. But the store is not the focus. The blog is. The community is.

You’re Not Alone
Stroke recovery is a long, frustrating road. But you don’t have to walk it alone. This is a space built for survivors, by a survivor, where your experiences are seen, understood, and respected.
We’re rebuilding life — one small victory at a time.
